About: Bishop Auckland Hospital

I was on ward 18 for 4 days following a left hip replacement All of the staff demonstrated high levels of professional skills coupled with sensitivity and respect for their patients and behaved with good humour at all times I always knew what was happening to me and why, and was kept up to date with what might happen next A positive attitude to promoting a speedy recovery was very much in evidence throughout the ward In a period when it seems more common for people to complain than compliment I must place on record my praise for this team. They are a credit to this hospital and to themselves
