Was admitted to Gloucester Royal after a referral from Cheltenham Genral after my throat closed up to be seen by a specialist. On arrival I was greeted by the specialist who's bedside manner was impeccable he was calming and reassuring and explained everything in laymans terms so I could understand. I was then taken up to the wards where again I was well looked after with having bloods taken and being put on a drip to get fluids in me as by that point I couldn't swallow. After a surprisingly good nights sleep I was awoke by a friendly nurse to give me more medication and check vitals etc. the food was hot and edible. I was looked after by so many different nurses and doctors and porters I can not praise them enough for being reassuring, calming and showing grace under pressure. The staff at both here and cheltenham really do the NHS proud.
