"I had a penis problem and was ..."

About: Leicester General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I had a penis problem and was very embarrassed

But the doctors and staff made me feel comfortable & relaxed they made me understand that how i felt was normal and i was able to talk and look them directly in the face while being examined. I was given support and felt able to come back when i thought there was a problem with the stitches and was not made to feel like an idiot.

What could be improved

The drinks machine in the area has never worked, and i have been to the area on several occasions over a 2 month period. sometimes waiting for extended periods with no access to a drink, I don't want pop which was not on offer just a lousy cup of Klix Coffee please!!!

Anything else?

The people who looked after me while i was an inpatient were amazing such a difference to other hospitals i have been in where the doctors were judgmental and arrogant, then when proven wrong didn't even have the decency to offer an apology
