"Compassionate and high quality care"

I've been treated for a scaphoid fracture at Lewisham for the past 4 weeks, undergoing a fixation operation yesterday afternoon. All through my experience I have been very impressed by the compassion of all staff and the generally high quality of care I received. In 10 years living in the UK this is my first time receiving any substantial treatment on the NHS and I have come away with the feeling that the NHS is a credit to the country, and that Lewisham hospital is a credit to the NHS!
