Dear Sir/Madam,
All too often we hear of complaints. I'd like to offers compliments. I had a traumatic time of things recently and the whole experience was helped by the outstanding care and attention from the staff on ward B5, Gynae ward.
I was admitted for a scheduled TAH on 26/6/14. Op went well - with a removal of a melon sized fibroid (! ), but I had complications which were picked up by staff (nurses and doctors). After several types of scans, they swiftly took me for an emergency laparoscopy on 4/7/14 to treat a twisted bowel and an obstruction. I was then on B4 for 2 weeks.
I want, on this occasion, to highlight the fantastic care I received on B5 from:
Val
Rosie
Sue - Thai nurse
Becky
Daniela
Stevie
Michelle
There were a team of super support workers, but I especially want to thank one member: Linsey, so kind, caring, cheerful, efficient, alert and helpful - THE image of what care SHOULD look like.
I want to end by extending my deepest thanks to the caring Mr Warwick. I wish all doctors had such excellent bedside manners and showed the same genuine care. Thank you Mr Warwick. I also want to thank the fabulous Ms McCleod and her team.
I am grateful. My thanks to all who cared for me.
"Excellent care which saved my life!!"
