About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

As yet my mum hasn't had any chemo but the journey to the hospital is appalling. We sat for 30 mins waiting to get into the car park. She is 82 and this was her first visit and it was very stressful for her. We were late for our meeting. We will need to make many trips in the next few months and we are not looking forward to it. About time a bigger car park was built. Treatment in the hospital was fine so far.

Dear Christine, We are sorry for the delays you experienced and recognise the difficulties posed when coming to park at the Royal. We work closely with both the local council and local car park owners to improve travel options and offer several different reduced rate tickets for patients and prime carers. These are the daily ticket at £5.50, weekly ticket £15, monthly ticket £50 and the saver ticket where you pay £25 and get a card top up with £50 of parking. Through our links with NCP we can also provide a daily, weekly and monthly ticket for use in the NCP Bannatyne car park at our rates too.
