"How correct is the diagnosis of a Spire consultant..."

I was referred in June 2014 by my optician who diagnosed a cataract however the consultant at Spire dismissed this saying that I didn't have a cataract. My optician wrote and asked for a second opinion by another optical consultant was needed and so finally today 9th September 2014 I am meeting another for the second opinion. Watch this space!
