I've been twice to the university hospital to have wisdom teeth out. Both times the operation went perfectly smoothly and the care, information and treatment I received was excellent. Staff explained clearly what was going to happen, and even though it's a teaching hospital I felt perfectly at ease with the skill of the (newer) doctors. Before and during the operation they took time to explain and reassure, and this relaxed-but-professional atmosphere was kept throughout, with the doctors making sure that I understood what was going on throughout. Afterwards, the information I received was appropriate to my circumstance and I left feeling confident about the recovery process. The hospital itself was very accommodating as I had originally received the appointment on a day where I was scheduled to give a talk - I explained this after receiving the appointment and there was no problem at all in rescheduling the operation it for a week later.
"Excellent treatment, very kind staff"
