(as the patient),

I will not name any one member of staff purely because everyone deserves credit and I would be horrified if I missed anyone out. However, the wards in question are: - Ward 10 and Mr Dunstan’s team, A & E, Admissions 2, ICU, HDU, Ward 53 and Mr Yalamarthi’s team, Ward 34 and oncology team. All of the staff and all the many visiting staff who have seen me while on Ward 53, I. e. stoma nurses, physios, dieticians, pain nurse, porters, have been exceptional in their care and compassion and have delivered a service well above and beyond their call of duty. Put it another way, if these members of staff received bonus payments, they would be worth their weights in gold!

Our staff all try very hard to make very patient experience a good one and it is very encouraging when someone makes a point of letting us know that things have gone well.
