"We will always be grateful to the care we all received"

About: Wythenshawe Hospital

(as a relative),

My Mother-in-Law was admitted to pulmonary oncology ward via A & E in mid August. She was very confused and elderly, but she was treated with compassion and kindness all the time she was with the hospital and the nursing and medical staff were very sensitive to her family. She was transferred to a nursing home and only survived a further two days, but we will always be grateful to the care we all received.

I have passed your comments to the staff on the Pulmonary Oncolgy Unit who would also like to offer their condolences. We are pleased to hear that you were stafisfied with the care that your mother in law received at a time that she was so unwell. Kind regards Patient Experience Manager
