"Disappointing and dirty."

About: Whipps Cross University Hospital

Fracture clinic dirty, not enough seats, xrays from St Mary's "not on the system" When I spoke to a radiographer I was told they just hadn't been downloaded from the transfer system as the PACS manager doens't know what is needed - surely all of them?! Doctor had not read notes and kept telling us the fracture diagnosis was unconfirmed - I had to insist three times and point to the line further down the page where this was documented and so the repeat xrays ordered were unnecessary, a wasted hour in a waiting room and against IRMER principles. Complete refusual to engage in a conversation about tracking down the missing images or pick up the phone to either the PACS manager or St Mary's who made the referral. A change of cast required in 3 weeks but no appointments available within this time frame and phones ring for 20 mins without being answered. Disappointing service. I work for the NHS and I was appalled. When we tried to confirm a change of address the staff were all too busy on their iphones and told us to go to the front desk as they had logged out of the system where there was a queue of 8 people for one receptionist.
