"Daughters knee dislocation"

In late June my daughters knee dislocated. This has happened before but after the swelling went down she was able to walk on it. This time she was in agony and couldn't straighten it. I was unable to to get her down the stairs as she was crying in agony.

I called 111 who sent an ambulance and she was given gas and air. At the hospital she didn't see a doc but sent straight to physio who sent her for an X-ray she was told the knee was in place and sent home with a physio app for ch le st a week later. Still unable to walk or straighten leg was told they couldn't do anything and given an app for more physio a week later at Durham.

We were devastated and still not having seen a doc. I rang furious and was given an app to see a doc following day. We were told that she needed an MRI scan and he would see her 2weeks after that His manner was very couldn't care less. . Went to make app and told late Aug and him in September. I begged for an earlier app as she spent all her time lying down and had no physio booked.

We were told impossible and so I rang his secretary to tell her we were worried to death as she still couldn't walk or straighten or was there anything we could put on the knee Incase she bumped it. told no and she couldn't be seen earlier.

I am not in a position to pay for treatment but have borrowed money to send her to Spire to see a consultant and have an MRI scan. And now for physio. She has extensive bruising and torn ligaments. She will need an op when her knee settles down. Treatment so far has been 800 pounds. Her treatment from Nhs has been a disgrace.

I would like this dealt with ASAP or will be making am official complaint and seeking the money paid returned. She is an 18 year old girl who has hardly been out of bed for7 weeks. I have her permission to write this and go further if needed. I am writing this further to speaking to you
