"Treatment for pneumonia"

About: Glenfield Hospital

I was admitted to Glenfield by ambulance and stayed as an in-patient for a few days, and then had a few months of follow up care (this was over christmas so I'm a few months late writing this review). The nurses, all doctors I saw and the Consultant were all friendly, helpful, patient and explained the care I would receive at all points of treatment. I was seen and treated promptly and cared for at all times during my in patient care. The out patient service was amazing - so well organised that I was x-rayed, seen by the nurse and then the consutant and then out again 30 minutes ahead of my appointed time. My GP was given a full run down of my treatment and future care needs. A lot of people moan about the NHS but I'm not sure what else could have been done for me. Thank you to all.

Dear Victoria, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, we are delighted to hear how well our team cared for you... what a shame you were in hospital over Christmas! We have shared your comments with the Head of Respiratory Medicine and lead nurse for Respiratory Services, and in turn, they will share this with the team that treated you. Wishing you the best of health, Communications Team Leicester's Hospitals
