"I am very unhappy with my experience"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I am very unhappy with my experience. I have been waiting nearly 6 weeks for an appointment. I understand that there may be a long waiting list but I have no clue about what is going to happen next. I could've been informed or a letter could have been sent out to remind me that I am still in the process of being seen! I don’t even know what is happening.

Dear Blue705

I am disappointed to read that you have no idea what is happening to your referral.

When TRAQS speak to a patient to discuss Choice and where they will receive treatment we always advise the patient verbally what will happen next and print off a letter which advises the patient what happens next. If you have not received your letter please call the office on 01952 580441 between 08.30 - 18.00 Monday to Friday (Closed Bank Holidays) and we will confirm your identity against the information we have been given by your GP practice, we can then check progress of your referral and if necessary arrange for another letter to be sent to you.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your concerns and we will do all we can to keep you informed if you decide to ring the TRAQS team.
