I was admiited to Doyle Ward with pneumonia on 3rd July 2014. The care I received from the paramedic and ambulance team through to A&E , triage and admittance was absolutely superb. On Doyle Ward I received wonderful care and attention, not only from the nursing staff but all the ancillary help as well. Special mention must be made of the devotion and hard work of the staff - always there with a smile and sense of humour. My particular thanks are expressed to the ward Sister the team who made my recovery much easier. As my title says - "The NHS is alive and doing extremely well!" Well done and a great big thank you.
