"Attended for biopsy"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I recently had to attend the gynae outpatients and also had a biopsy. I was welcomed by a lovely nurse when I arrived, and she put me at ease while taking my weight and blood pressure. The doctor I saw was friendly and approachable, explained everything clearly and answered my many questions patiently. Despite a hitch finding the equipment needed for the biopsy, I was kept informed and felt well looked after. I can't fault the treatment or the staff, but would say that they were put in a difficult situation due to the lack of clinical equipment which could have resulted in stress for patients awaiting tests. If I need further tests or treatment, I will feel confident attending the clinic.
