"Fantastic response from friendly staff"

I called 111 for my mother-in-law. On that day she had come downstairs in the morning but feeling wobbly and fuzzy headed she went back to bed. She was in bed for most of the day, I was concerned that her condition was worsening, that’s when I called the 111 service.

The person who took the call sent paramedics and an ambulance. Tests they arried out showed her salts were a bit low, she was taken to hospital to the A&E department.

The paramedics and ambulance crew were absolutely fantastic. They were very calm, kept chatting to my mother-in-law and keeping her cheerful even though she was confused.

I had to call 111 twice after that, on both occasions the paramedics who came were great.
