I know the service is very oversubscribed by it's not good when you arrive for an appointment to be told it was cancelled. This coupled with never being able to get in contact with the pain clinic is not great. The nursing staff are lovely and when having Facet joint injections all the staff could not be nicer. Its a shame that the consultant is a little patronising and seems unwilling to help. If you are a little bigger than the average skinny minni don't expect ant sympathy either because you will be patronised even more and told everything is because of your weight. Even though before my accident I was thin and active and had the same pain.
