I was recently admitted to A&E at St Peter’s Hospital after suffering a stroke (I am in my 40s). I was then an in-patient for 4 nights on Holly Ward. Throughout my stay I was treated with the utmost respect by caring professionals who went out of their way to support me. Everyone I came into contact with – doctor, nurse, health care assistant, physiotherapist, cleaner, food service worker – were helpful and kind and worked exceptionally hard. I could not have asked for better care. In particular, the unhurried time afforded me by the specialist stroke nurses was very much appreciated. The premises were also spotlessly clean.
"First class service that could not be faulted"
