"caring for my daughter and her twins"

About: Queen's Hospital / Maternity care

(as a relative),

My daughter gave birth to twins on in May, she was seen in the day unit for most of the nine months, they were the most caring and nice people she could have asked for, then into anti natal dept for 10 days with high Bp, again they were as caring as anyone could ask for, then into HDU dept to give birth and stayed for 3days, the care was unbelievable everyone from the consultants to midwifes and the nursery staff were great, then into post natal, again the same treatment.

I was with my daughter the whole time, they cared for her, the twins and ME, we could not fault anyone we came in contact with, We want to thank all the staff for their constant care, we had read all the comments about Queens, NOT TRUE in our experience , Thank you again.

Congratulations on becoming a grandparent, and sharing your daughter’s birth experience with us. Reading your comment has made me incredibly proud to lead such a dedicated team of staff. I will ensure that your comments are passed to the Maternity Unit as they really do appreciate your kind words. Yours sincerely Wendy Matthews Interim Chief Nurse
