"Problems with trying to make an appointment"

I rang this morning to make an appointment for my partner for an issue that I thought was quite serious. after waiting 3 minutes for the phone to be answered I was abruptly told that there was no appointments left on that day. I enquired if there was any appointments for the following day or day after that but the lady on the phone refused to look for appointments and abruptly told me "I have already told you, ring back tomorrow". Following this the phone was put down on me. I seriously hope that my partner doesn't have anything seriously wrong as the receptionist who I spoke to seemed to not care about patients. Very Unprofessional. Very Rude.. I think some of the the staff must need some Customer service training. and need to have empathy with patients when dealing with them on the phone. I have never had a problem with any of the doctors or nurses at this medical centre but I feel the receptionist or the staff who answer the telephone may need replacing with staff who seem to care about their patients.
