"Nurse Practitioner."

About: Royal Victoria Hospital (Folkestone)

Husband had operation today on knee. Dressing was soaked In blood so off to the MIU. No waiting - went straight in and saw a nurse who unwrapped and cleaned up wound which would not stop bleeding. The nurse checked with the BMI Chaucer to see if she could use steristrips. Lots of clean dressings and a much better job done of bandaging and making secure than the hospital where the procedure took place. An amazing nurse who was very professional and personable, she gave us lots of advice about rest and felt very reassured. Big thank you!

Thank you very much for providing feedback, I am very glad that the NHS was able to help and I will ensure that the staff at MIU see your feedback. the MIU is actually run by community services and so will pass on your story to my colleagues.
