Doctor(he did not introduce himself) disagreed with previous diagnosis(by another doctor at same hospital) and made me feel that this was my fault. Contradicted himself when trying to explain the problems with my eyes. He did not answer my questions fully and could not offer an alternative diagnosis. He did not seem to have paid attention to the information from previous visits to the Macular Clinic where staff treated me with kindness and consideration. He still concluded that I should return to A and E with any further problems but at the moment I would not want to return to be treated in such a manner. He did at least acknowledge that my situation was worrying for me; my recent experience has made it more so. I feel that I need to see someone else now to provide some reassurance and clarity. Other staff were very helpful and previous visits to macular clinic have been positive experiences.
