What I liked

A&E Staff were nice, but slow with requests for family and loved ones, to come in. my wife was left in the family area for what seamed hours, even when I had asked her to visit, the staff did not inform me she was waiting, this was quite upsetting for me, as I belived she had not attended the unit. Had asked several times is she was here.

What could be improved

Staff need to talk to each other. Would be nice if staff "knocked" before just walking in on you! or ripping open the curtains! VERY EMBARRASSING! Was using a bottle at the time.

Anything else?

A lot of the wards could do with a good clean, I had to share a shower with 30 other people, on a mixed ward! A perhaps better gowns. Far better service at Gloucestershire Royal
