"day treatment care"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

I have been admitted to the Day Treatment Unit twice & both times was treated with kindness, care & utter respect. I have a phobia which probably made me a bit nof a neurotic patient, although I tried not to be. Everyone involved in my care couldn't have been kinder & although busy were always on hand when needed. Thank you to you all

Thank you so much for posting your story of your admissions to DTU. Having an anaesthetic of any type at any time is always a worrying experience. The staff on DTU are, as you say, busy but take the time to alleviate those worries. I am delighted it was such a positive experience for you and hope it will give you more confidence for any future visits. I will make sure that the staff are made aware of this message as knowing they have provided a great service will be important to them.
