I was a patient at Fairhaven. I am male. I was discharged not so long ago. The place was the best place for a bad situation. I had given up in life and the staff motivated me to get back on the tracks and to keep running. It was hard. To be honest, I sort of miss the place, the routine, the people and the sense of safety from myself.
The only criticism is not being able to contact staff after discharge. I really developed good relationships with staff and I hate when relationships break and I take it pretty hard. When I left Fairhaven, I longed for the staff's help and in my moments of need I had to imagine they were there.
Overall it is a really good place, but its sad to leave such a safe haven. Thank you.
