"Hip Replacement"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

I had a hip replacement on 3 June after being notified of a cancellation so the estimated 4 months waiting was cut by half - a very welcome reduction. From admission to discharge the quality of treatment and care was exceptional. In addition, the 3 hour sessions of exercises and information which took place prior to the operation were invaluable. The pre-op itself was thorough and informative, and all staff were kind, caring and helpfu at all timesl. A big thank you to you all, not forgetting the big man himself and his surgical team. The NHS at bits best.
