I was admitted to Ward 28 for surgery on 19-5-14. During my stay, I was impressed with the care given by friendly staff of all grades/disciplines. The ward was kept extremely clean and the food was acceptable and varied considering the generally low catering budgets within the NHS. I had been apprehensive about being treated in such a large hospital but need not have worried. My questions were answered and my needs met by caring staff. Sincere thanks to everyone including the Baptist Chaplain.
