I tore my acl 8 weeks ago now. I had a follow up appointment to discuss my MRI results and was told what I already knew. I was in and out in a few minutes and it seemed as though the doctor didn't care and he wanted me in and out ASAP. As I have a knee injury I was expecting to see the knee specialist. I was meant to see a specific doctor but he wasn't there so I have no idea who I saw. He said to me that I have to make an appointment to see the knee specialist in a months time. Who was he then? He also said that I should wait until I had finished my physio before anything was done. I will not finish physio until my knee has a better range of movement so there is no set time! It just seemed as though he didn't know what he was talking about. When he was speaking to me he was telling me everything that I have been told before and just decided to read my MRI results off the screen for myself. Doing this I found out there there were more minor damages in my knee but he had failed to tell me this. I am thinking about going privatly because frankly this is a joke!
