About: Sheffield Children's Hospital

We were taken to Sheffield Children's Hospital in July 2011, after my 8yr old was involved in a car accident. The staff were so professional and supportive in every way I could imagine. My daughter has such good memories of feeling safe and looked after, that she will talk about her stay in hospital rather than her very serious injuries and how much pain she was in. We should be so proud that we have these facilities to hand. We still attend the hospital 2 yrs later and we are still receiving outstanding support both physically and mentally. I wouldn't leave the cleaners out either, I did get a little fed up of having to move so they could clean, not such a bad thing. Thank you to M1, Consultants, Nurses, Doctors, Physio, O.T, Ambulance crew, Receptionists, the cook who mushed up our food, X-ray people, Anaesthetist, where else would you access all of these people, in one place, at no cost, and they were wonderful. I haven't mentioned the free television for the children, parents area, play area, the dr . I could go on easily. They are brilliant, in my opinion.
