"Unhappy and left with no diagnosis..... again"

About: Diana, Princess Of Wales Hospital

After finally being given the option of going to A&E or waiting a week for an appointment with my own GP I attended A&E. I told the nurse of my symptoms and that I was 19 weeks pregnant and got moved straight to the major cubicles No communication for why just told to sit in the room and wait. After waiting nearly an hour a doctor examined me and left the room saying he would seek advise from specialist. I got told I would be moved to Laurel Ward once I had my drip attached- this one done however no fluids where going through. This would be sorted on the ward I was told. On arriving to Laurel Ward I was put in a treatment room to wait for a doctor. A nurse burst into the room without knocking looking through the cupboards no excuse me, sorry to bother you nothing. The doctor then arrived went through my case and asked to examine me, as I began to undress the same nurse without knocking entered the room again got something out the cupboard and left, no excuse me or sorry again. During my examination a doctor then walked into the room without knocking with a patient behind him. Having already been embarrassed and uncomfortable with the examination this just made it even more uncomfortable and awkward for myself. Once the examination had been complete the doctor informed me to get dressed and go wait in the waiting area as this treatment room was needed for someone else. As I was getting dressed the same nurse without knocking walked in again joking that the key doesn't fit the cabinet and she cannot find an item. This is just part of my visit without touching on the non diagnosis, cannula being attached to the drip and still no fluids going as it was not working and the constant movement from treatment room back to the waiting room in pain. My second negative experience on the Laurel Ward
