What could be improved
When my husband was eventually admitted to Pinderfields for memory loss and severe headaches, after initially being sent home, he was treated like he was unimportant and remained without pain relief or tests being run for almost a week. It was only when he suffered a seizure he was given a CT scan and his brain tumour was discovered. Even once his condition was diagnosed there was no sence of urgency to get him the care he needed and he remained without further treatment for another week. My husband may not now be terminally ill if those 2 weeks had not been waisted. My husband even had to get himself to the scanning dept himself as no porter was available for him.
