"Nephrology clinic (Outpatient)"

After getting some 'dodgy' results from a urine sample, I was referred to Nephrology at Derriford. Delighted to discover that they held clinics in Holsworthy (8 miles from home) and Launceston (20 miles) - so it saved a long drive. And I've had good experiences with Derriford. Holsworthy Hospital was as good as anybody would want. Clean and tidy - I rec'd a friendly greeting and I was escorted to the Outpatient clinic. Minimal wait. Saw Consulatnt Nephrologist promptly. He seemed to know his stuff and inspired confidence. He carried out a thorough interview, then a top to toe check - followed by further discussion about the medical issue. All went well. All I could leave were my thanks, and blood and urine samples. A relatively minor medical matter - but an example of NHS at its best.
