We were referred to the DVT clinic in Watford by Hemel Hospital on Saturday. The clinic part of ACU (Ambulatory Care Unit) was only opened in January 2014 at its current location and is new, clean, fresh, calm and quiet. Although we had a few hours wait at Hemel Hospital before seeing a lovely doctor there who then referred us to Watford immediately (and followed it up with a call to my husband later that day to check on progress!), we cannot fault the care and thoroughness of either hospital. We were seen by a specialist nurse at Watford who took bloods, and went through everything thoroughly and although we had to wait for the blood results, we were kept informed, given medication and are currently awaiting an ultra sound apt I cannot thank the nurse at Watford and the other staff enough. She and everyone wwre absolutely brilliant. Mr and Mrs Reidy
