Being pregnant with diabetes and having just moved back to UK caused more hustle than i would imagine... It took me like 5 weeks to get registered to GP and I was referred to Queen Elizabeth A&E as a result of a bleeding. From that point on I realised the reviews dont always make sense. Afterwards In my midwife appointment I was told that I could try my luck to get an early appointment from the day care centre. To my biggest surprise diabetic nurse there took me straight in, looked into my medication, my test results and without even making me wait for an appointment he put me right into the schedule of proper care. I am very happy the way they treated me upto today as they are very helpful and keen workers. I was 14 weeks pregnant when I first went there and now I am 32 feel so safe and my blood sugar results are going great also no more hypos thank God :) . I would definetly recommend the queen elizabeth day care centre to everyone... They know what they are doing and they never forget that you are a human being which is also very important especially when you are pregnant...
