My GP & optician referred me to the A&E of Western Eye Hospital on 08/05 after I have been complaining of shadow, blurred vision on my right eye. I was quickly diagnosed with a retina detachment and an urgent operation was required to fix it. I met with the ophthalmologist on the following day who scheduled my operation for the following Monday. I was extremely nervous and anxious prior to the operation but all the nurses staff, the doctor and all the team in the operation theater were simply fantastic and so kind they helped me go through my anxiety so everything could go smoothly. The staff care about the patients, you are not treated as a number but a human being and it is so important now days. Thank you.
