I was admitted to broomfield hospital with a suspected stroke. The ambulance staff and emergency team in resuscitation were magnificent. I was taken up to the stroke ward and again the care and expertise of staff was first class. I really cannot praise them enough. I was discharged the following day after an apparent false alarm.
The only downside is that 1 week after the event, my GP has had absolutely NO contact or information from the hospital about my case, test results or diagnosis, which makes ongoing care plans with my GP rather difficult. This is such a shame, bearing in mind how brilliant the staff were and the wonderful manner in which they dealt with the original problems. Such a shame.
"Great care, but lack of information for my GP"
