I have been an outpatient of one of the neurologists at the hospital. I have had a series of tests which were completed months and months ago, and I should have been signed off to drive again by now. However the neurologist has been refusing to respond to the DVLA, and apparently will not be seeing me for my final consultation for a few months yet. It is unacceptable to have to wait so long to be told what I already know, that my tests have come back all clear and I can resume driving and living a normal life again. These people don't realise how these delays can affect someone's lift so badly. I am completely dismayed with the inefficiencies of my local nhs, and if they are not able to be able to deal with something so simple then I say privatise the whole lot.
