"Sports injury"

About: Princess of Wales Hospital

Another trip to the Princess of Wales, minor injury unit with my son, after another sports injury to his finger. The staff are wonderful. We were greeted with a smiling and polite receptionist and asked to wait. There were several other patients, who also needed and X-ray, but as the time was very nearly 4:45, when it closes, all the staff worked effectively and efficiently to get as many X-rayed as possible. Unfortunately there wasn't time for my son to have his, however after a thorough examination by the nurse practitioner, we were asked to return at 9 am the next day for an X-ray. This we did and again, we were greeted with a very warm lady receptionist, were quickly through the X-ray process and back down to see the same nurse practitioner as yesterday, who had left the necessary paperwork available for a quick process. My son and I are very grateful to the NHS staff at PoW, who's dedication and professionalism made for a relatively short and trouble free experience - Thank you!
