My son attended the a&e department for trapped/crushed fingers. We are from Bristol and came down to buy a caravan so we weren't even local. The consultant and surgeon took over and they were absolutely fantastic. They explained everything and gave us many options. The anethatist was caring too. They all spoke to my son Ryley and re assured him making him feel very comfortable. When we realised surgery was best option we went onto a ward Brumble ward. The staff there were fab. Allowing us all to stay together and by helping our visit more comfortable as we had no over night stuff. Whilst my son was in surgery the nurses kept me updated and at no point did I feel alone or confused. We really did feel like royalty and my son was at no point distressed or unhappy. Even the breakfast lady went above and beyond to help us out. All members off staff from consultant, surgeon, anethitist nurses to the hca all those that dealt with us deserve a reward. We really can not thank them all enough for everything they did to help our visit more better under the circumstances of a four year old with crushed finger and from being so far from home. Thank you thank thank you all so much. Xxx I would be most grateful if you can ensure the team receive my comments
