my partner had a burn at work, and was taken to Blackburn Royal... she was treated professionally by all the care team once she'd managed to get past reception... but really wanted to say thank you for the special care that the Staff Nurse took... She obviously loves her job, and rather than just let us come back and get the dressing changed by anybody, she took ownership of the situation and made sure we asked for her when we came back. she even gave us the times she was working. after the dressing change, she rang round trying to book an appointment at a Accy Vic dressing clinic, so my partner would not have to wait, and to check they had the same dressings. when they fobed her off, she gave my partner some of the special dressings (we already found out that they didn't have) for our GP she also gave us her work times from Wednesday saying if we had any questions or concerns to come back and see her. she is a credit to her profession, and a very lovely person to boot Thank You Amy
