I'm so grateful I cant thank you enough. In CDU everyone was fantastic, the people who cleaned, the people who delivered the food, care staff , nurses, doctors and consultants, just thanks. When i transferred to ward 33A, I was treated with such care and respect, everything explained and I was looked after with such professionalism, it made me weep , relay. As above, everyone was fantastic, the people who cleaned, the people who delivered the food, care staff , nurses, doctors and consultants. All of the nursing staff where brilliant and gave more than 100% , working long shifts of 12 hours and being just as cheery at the end as at the beginning, despite dealing with lots of difficult situations including abuse. Just a few where so very special, recognizing and giving extra support to everyone in such a committed way, raising spirits and going the extra mile. I'm not going to name names but several of you deserve an award from the Queen. My thanks the Chaplin , for a very uplifting Sunday communion service, and the volunteers from local churches who helped people from the wards attend. There was a point when you realize you life has been saved, improved and lengthened. I'm deeply changed by the experience, so simply thanks hardly seems enough.
