"Wonderful suppport at St Mary's Day Unit (ICS) Chapeltown Leeds"

(as the patient),

I was at patient at St Mary's Day Unit Chapeltown for several weeks recently and I have to say that the staff there are absolutely wonderful.

I had been a patient there previously when my illnesses had been particularly bad. I was so grateful to be referred there again when I was really struggling - partly due to severe stress in my life.

The staff are so caring and compassionate and I was helped through an extremely difficult time when I was often distressed I also felt very suicidal at times.

I would like to thank the staff there who are exceptionally kind people - especially staff in my team Lee, Catherine and Mark who are stars and provided me with lots of support and useful advice which I hope will help me move forward positively in my life.

Thank you very much for the lovely feedback you have given to the team working at the intensive community service at St Mary’s House.

All of the staff team work very hard to provide good care, and to give service users who are acutely unwell an alternative to going into hospital. I’m really pleased you found the time with the service so helpful and will pass on the positive comments to all the staff, especially those you mention by name.

Thank you very much for your good wishes and for saying you will pass on my positive comments and thanks to the staff team all of whom work very hard supporting patients; they were so kind and helpful to me and it really is appreciated.

I would be grateful if you would thank Paul and Mick in addition to the other staff I mentioned by name, they have also been exceptionally kind and helpful to me,
