Lousy communication with NHS services means that I did not know that I could only see a nurse at Ashford Walk In Centre. I have a serious complex illness that was given no consideration when presenting with a mutated form of shingles. The receptionist was unbelievably curt and rude when I simply asked for an appointment with a doctor. The nurse I did see didn't have a clue about ME and how lowered immunity means catching or resurrecting infections easily. I take people as I find them, I do not pre-judge, but this level of rudeness and lack of respectful communication blew me away. Why should I be treated in such a manner when feeling horribly ill over a Bank Holiday and mistakenly thought that a walk in surgery was the best place to go? I find it hypocritical that the staff are permitted to be as rude and abrupt with you as they like (without swearing), but point this out to them and not only did they lie and deny it but send for security!!!!! Ridiculous that I have to put 'don't know' for which department did I visit as this site did not list Walk In. Really the NHS has become so inept.
