"My stay at the David Evans ward for operation on..."

When I arrived at The David Evans Ward at 11:30am and introduced myself they were expecting me and felt immediately at ease by their professional manner. Very clean surroundings and informal waiting area and the staff looked tidy and well presented. Didn't have to wait too long and I liked the fact that I was seen by both my Consultant and the anaesthetist before my operation, both were very friendly and professional. After my operation the care was of a high standard, and having previously stayed at The Wellington Hospital after having an operation, I would say that the care was in fact better by far on The David Evans Ward, all the staff were really pleasant and the Tea Lady was a cheerful sight every morning with a friendly smile. My Mother was impressed by the Artwork on Exhibition in the public areas, and when she telephoned the Ward was always greeted by a helpful and friendly nurse on the phone. I would definitely recommend this Hospital and my Consultant, and have already done so to others as I have had experience of other Consultants in West London and by far this Consultant is far Superior in every aspect of my care.
