"Accident and Emergency"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

Can't fault this hospital from staff to facilities, even car parking is a sensibly priced 'pay as you leave' system ...... I accompanied my elderly mother to A & E recently (she had fallen a broken her hip ... ). Thankfully, I am not a regular visitor to hospitals and all I know of them are the horror stories reported in the media of patients left for hours, uncared for etc........ I am pleased to say that this is certainly NOT the case at QEQM A&E. My mother's treatment was first class and although a very busy department, time was taken to check with her on a regular basis that she had enough food, drink and enough pain relief. A big thank you to all staff. I went away with a totally different perspective Also wish to thank all the staff on Seabathing Ward too for my mother's continued excellent treatment
