For the last 23 years I have been under the care of various dept. of the Hammersmith Hosp. A doctor performed by-pass surgery on me at Christmas 1990. Jan 1991 his colleague performed a dual pacemaker op on me. Over the years following I have been monitored at the pacemaker clinic. Having had a further five dual pacemakers fitted. A few years back I met a member of staff, brilliant at his job as are all of the staff I have come into contact with. A couple of months ago, at his clinic, he said, "Oh,I enquired, whats the Oh for? He responded, "if you were a motor car you are out of petrol". This week I went into day surgery at the cardio. surgery. New pacemaker number six, absolutely spectacular treatment from all the staff from start to finish. I was even fed and watered post op. After the very first treatment, I was told, any problems or worries come straight back here. I have no way of expressing my thanks, thanks to them all at Hammersmith Hosp.
"If you have to go to hospital, make sure it is..."
