Consultants should learn to talk to there patients face to face. At a recent cancer consultantation on the 26th Feb with the replacement doctor, my sister and I were dismayed to see a consultant who we did not understand and did not explain my treatment plan. I was sent for a ultrasound and mammogram in Feb and I have had no results and no follow up appointment. As a previous cancer patient I know I should have got the results by mail. I am still unaware of the treatment plan, a bone scan was mentioned but I was told this was to expensive to undertake.
