"all slots gone"

About: Greater Manchester

(as the patient),

I rang the surgery at 09: 00 am, I got the surgery answer machine. I hung up the phone and pressed redial on my mobile phone, the phone rang and rang for approx 2 minutes with no answer, in fact my mobile rang off.

I re-dialled again and the phone was now engaged, I re-dialled again and the phone was engaged. I re-dialled again I got the answer machine. I re-dialled again and the phone started to ring for approx 1 minute then the phone was answered the time was 09: 05am. I asked if I could see my doctor the lady said all her slots were taken up, it was 09: 05 and all her slots were taken up? Why? The lady offered me another doctor to see, but I wanted to see my own doctor. I wanted to see my doctor who had a week before dealt with my ailment and said to me if I needed to see her again to come back if I had any more issues, which I still have and now I won't be treated.

I always have this issue when trying to book a morning appointment, not answering phone, phone being engaged then going onto answer phone. Please can you address this poor service, this is not acceptable. My doctor is very caring and supportive of my aliments and treats me with respect. I don't get this from reception it seems to me, but the doctor is a professional and they don't seem to be. Do I have to queue up at the surgery gate to see my doctor? I hope you take this seriously and improve the service that you provide.
