"Felt dismissed during outpatient appointment"

About: Solihull Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

Arrived early for my nine o clock appointment and should have been second to be seen. However, as other patients arrived for the same clinic, their files were put on top of mine contributing to my waiting time of 45 minutes. It looked like the consultant took my file and then decided to have a meeting with his secretary before seeing me!

When I saw a consultant, he would not let me speak unless I was answering his questions. He decided that, as I already had some health conditions, my latest problems were obviously down to them!

I feel that I was dismissed by this health professional and made to feel like I was wasting his time!
